The streets of Monaco recently witnessed an extraordinary sight: Fernando Alonso, the renowned Aston Martin Racing driver, behind the wheel of his rare Lamborghini Sian FKP 37. This hybrid hypercar, known for its striking design and innovative technology, turned heads as it navigated the picturesque principality.
The video footage, circulating on social media, captures the dark blue Sian with its distinctive bronze alloy wheels and Y-shaped LED headlights. Alonso’s ownership was confirmed earlier this year when he was photographed with the vehicle, identifiable by the license plate bearing his racing number, 14.

The hybrid system integrates a 34 hp electric motor into the gearbox, complementing a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine that produces 785 hp. Combined, the output reaches an impressive 819 hp enabling the Sian to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and achieve a top speed exceeding 355 km/h.
A Limited-Edition Masterpiece
Lamborghini produced only 63 coupes and 19 roadsters of the Sian FKP 37, all of which were pre-sold before the car’s public reveal. The number 63 pays homage to 1963 the year Lamborghini began building sports cars. The FKP 37 suffix honors Ferdinand Karl Piech, the Volkswagen Group architect who passed away in 2019, with the 37 referencing his birth year.
Each coupe was individually configured through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam studio, ensuring no two are identical. The Sian’s base price was approximately €3.3 million when new, but used examples have since seen their value climb significantly, with resale listings now approaching £4 million before tax, equivalent to around $5.9 million.
Fernando Alonso’s Impressive Collection
Alonso’s Sian FKP 37 joins a collection estimated to be worth around £32 million. Recent additions include a one-of-a-kind Pagani Zonda Roadster Diamante Verde acquired for approximately $11.7 million a Mercedes CLK GTR (one of just 25 road-legal examples), and an Aston Martin DBX S delivered to his Monaco home in late 2026, which Alonso described as “outstanding.”
The Sian shares space with a Ferrari F40 and a diverse range of vehicles, from rally icons to hatchbacks, reflecting Alonso’s eclectic taste in automobiles. Unlike some collectors who keep their prized possessions under lock and key, Alonso is known for enjoying his cars on the open road.
