Exclusive Look at GTA VI Gameplay Features and Controversial Leak

In just nine days, Rockstar Games will unveil an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI via Netflix. However, the internet’s curiosity couldn’t wait, and two leaked clips surfaced online, offering a sneak peek into the highly anticipated game.

The clips, each lasting just over a minute, were quickly taken down due to copyright claims, highlighting Rockstar’s vigilant monitoring. The videos were also marred by cryptocurrency ads, a common sight in such leaks.

Jason’s Recreational Activities and Game Mechanics

One of the clips shows protagonist Jason enjoying some downtime at his waterfront home, engaging in a game of basketball. A notable feature in this scene is the Focus stat that Jason gains when he makes a basket. This suggests that GTA VI might encourage players to participate in recreational activities, a departure from previous installments.

Vehicle Physics and Combat in GTA VI

The other clip focuses on driving, specifically showcasing the 1970 Vapid Ganado a rusted-out pickup truck. The footage includes handbrake turns and a brief but intense altercation with a mail truck. Jason’s quick victory is marked by a devil-emoji-style icon, possibly indicating an honor system. Additionally, the clip hints at a more grounded approach to equipment management, with loadout options appearing overhead.

Some enthusiasts have speculated that GTA VI is adopting a slower, more methodical pace based on these details. However, the gameplay appears to retain the classic GTA V feel, enhanced with intricate animations and improved lighting and shadows.

Exclusive Vehicles and Bonuses

The leaked footage also reveals two exclusive vehicles tied to the pricier, $100 version of the game: the 1995 Grotti Cheetah and the 1967 Vapid Dominator Buggy. These vehicles, along with the custom Ganado, are part of the bonuses for the higher-tier edition.

Despite the low-quality nature of the leaked footage, it’s clear that the official premiere on Netflix will showcase a visually superior product. The leaked clips, potentially dating back to 2026, suggest that the final version will benefit from significant visual improvements.
