The latest update for Forza Horizon 6 titled British Automotive has arrived, bringing a host of new features and vehicles to the game. Among the highlights is the introduction of Drift Attack a permanent feature that promises to test players’ drifting skills. Additionally, the update celebrates British engineering with a takeover of the Horizon Stadium and the addition of three new cars to the Festival Playlist.
Drift Attack offers players the chance to unlock a special Forza Edition car, the 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition designed specifically for drifting. The feature also includes new leaderboards and Clipping Zones that boost points when drifting within their boundaries. This update is part of the game’s ongoing evolution, with more exciting content on the horizon.
The Thrill of Drift Attack
Drift Attack is integrated into the Horizon Festival Campaign and can be unlocked by obtaining the Yellow Wristband. Players can earn completion for Drift Attack in the Collection Journal to unlock the Drift Attack Racesuit, Helmet, and the fully customized Forza Edition car. The feature allows players to score drift points within a single lap, with no limit on the number of laps they can run. Clipping Zones are strategically placed around the drift circuit to boost points when drifting within their boundaries.
The feature also includes in-world and Convoy Leaderboards, allowing players to compete against others in the Shared World. Drivetrains against each Drift Attack leaderboard entry are also included in the menu leaderboard options. This new addition is sure to provide hours of entertainment for drifting enthusiasts.
British Automotive Takeover
The British Automotive Takeover brings a selection of unmissable deals on a variety of British cars to the Aftermarket dealership near the Horizon Stadium in the Shimanoyama region. Players can purchase these cars on the spot and immediately add them to their collection. Additionally, two rare cars, the 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and the 1961 Jaguar E-type usually only available in Wheelspins, will be available for a limited time.
Players will also be able to test drive the 20 PTS Seasonal Reward car each week from the Aftermarket dealership. The British Automotive Takeover is a celebration of British engineering and design, offering players a chance to experience some of the finest vehicles the UK has to offer.
Festival Playlist and New Cars
The British Automotive update features 10 Series Reward cars to collect, three of which are new-to-Horizon. These include the 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed2019 Ginetta G40 Junior and 2006 Vauxhall Astra VXR. The update also brings back two cars from previous games, the 2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT and 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 as well as two Wheelspin-exclusive cars: the 2019 Aston Martin Valhalla Concept Car and 2016 Bentley Bentayga.
New clothing options available in this series include the Retro Racesuit and Classic Jacket. The Drift Tire Mascot Collectible can also be found in the Shimanoyama region during the second week of the series. Additionally, there’s a special Lionheart Player Badge obtainable by playing Forza Horizon 6 anytime during the British Automotive series of the Festival Playlist.
The update also introduces the 2025 McLaren W1 for players who have purchased the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass. This car features advanced painting options for individual parts of the car, allowing players to customize it to their liking. The McLaren W1 is a hybrid racer that promises to deliver supreme speed and an unmatched driving experience.
