Motorola continues to expand its G Power series with the introduction of the Moto G77 Power. This latest addition combines familiar features with some notable upgrades, making it a compelling option for budget-conscious consumers.

The Moto G77 Power stands out with its impressive battery life thanks to a 7,000mAh battery. This feature is consistent across the G Power series, ensuring long-lasting performance. The device also supports 30W TurboPower charging and 6W reverse charging adding to its versatility.

The Heart of the Device: Performance and Storage

The Moto G77 Power is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, the same processor found in the G37 Power. This chipset is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage providing smooth performance for everyday tasks. The device also includes a microSD slot allowing for expandable storage up to 1TB.

Running on Android 16 the Moto G77 Power is set to receive one major OS update to Android 17 along with three years of security patches. This ensures that users will benefit from the latest features and security enhancements for an extended period.

A Display Designed for Clarity and Speed

The Moto G77 Power features a 6.72-inch LCD display with a 1,080 x 2,400px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This high-refresh-rate display ensures smooth scrolling and fluid animations, enhancing the The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i providing added durability against scratches and drops.

The device also includes a side-mounted fingerprint reader offering convenient and secure access. The display’s high brightness mode can reach up to 1,050 nits making it easy to use even in bright sunlight.

Capturing Moments with Precision

The Moto G77 Power boasts a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 sensor as its main camera, complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The main camera features 0.8µm pixels and an f/1.8 lens with PDAF ensuring sharp and detailed photos. The ultra-wide lens offers a 120° field of view perfect for capturing expansive landscapes.

For selfies and video calls, the device includes a 32MP front-facing camera with 0.7µm pixels and an f/2.2 fixed-focus lens. All cameras on the device can record 1080p video with the main camera capable of 60fps recording.

Durability and Connectivity

The Moto G77 Power is designed to withstand the rigors of daily use, featuring an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It has also passed MIL-STD-810H testing ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions.

The device includes a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, although it is limited to USB 2.0 speeds. Despite this, the 3.5mm headphone jack remains a welcome feature, offering Hi-Res Audio support and FM radio. Additionally, the device features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience.

The Moto G77 Power supports 5G connectivity with sub-6GHz bands, along with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4. However, it lacks NFC functionality.

Availability and Pricing

The Moto G77 Power will be available in India starting July 13 with a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at ₹26,000 ($270). The device will be sold through Flipkart and offline retail stores.

The device comes in four vibrant colors: Impenetrable (Gray)Nautical BlueFuchsia Red and Laurel Green. These color options cater to a variety of preferences, ensuring there is a style for everyone.
