Motorola has expanded its G-series lineup with the introduction of the Moto G77 Power in India. This latest addition is designed to cater to users seeking a reliable smartphone with impressive battery life and camera capabilities. The device stands out with its 7,000mAh battery a feature that has become a hallmark of Motorola’s G Power series.

The Moto G77 Power is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, the same processor found in the Moto G37 Power. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The device runs on Android 16 and is promised one major OS update to Android 17, along with three years of security patches.

The Display and Design

The Moto G77 Power features a 6.72-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The display supports up to 1,050 nits in high brightness mode, ensuring clear visibility even in bright conditions. The device sports a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric security.

Camera Capabilities

On the rear, the Moto G77 Power sports a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 sensor with a 1/2-inch sensor size which is relatively large for its segment. This is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° field of view. The front camera is a 32MP sensor offering high-resolution selfies. Both the rear and front cameras support 1080p video recording with the main camera capable of recording at 60fps.

Battery and Charging

The standout feature of the Moto G77 Power is its 7,000mAh battery which supports 30W TurboPower charging and 6W reverse charging. This massive battery is designed to provide extended usage, making it ideal for users who need their devices to last throughout the day. The device also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res Audio certification and supports FM radio.

Connectivity and Durability

The Moto G77 Power supports 5G connectivity with sub-6GHz bands. It also features dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4 although it lacks NFC. The device is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance and has passed MIL-STD-810H testing for durability. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and the device measures 8.9mm thick, weighing 215g.

The Moto G77 Power will be available in four colors: Impenetrable (Gray), Nautical BlueFuchsia Red and Laurel Green. It will go on sale on July 13, 2026 through Flipkart, Motorola India, and offline retail stores. The device is priced at ₹25,999, with early bird offers bringing the price down to ₹23,999.
