This partnership, which includes exclusive pay-TV rights and select free-TV broadcasts, underscores RTL Deutschland’s commitment to delivering top-tier motorsport content to fans across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The agreement marks a significant milestone in the world of motorcycle racing, as it brings the MotoGP World Championship to a broader audience than ever before. With this deal, RTL Deutschland reinforces its status as the go-to destination for motorsport aficionados, offering an unparalleled viewing experience across multiple platforms.

Expanding Access to MotoGP™ Content

Under the new agreement, RTL Deutschland will broadcast every MotoGP Grand Prix, Tissot Sprint qualifying session, and practice session live on Sky Sport. This comprehensive coverage will also extend to all Moto2 and Moto3 races and sessions, ensuring that fans do not miss a moment of the action. Additionally, the rights package includes the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup the Northern Talent Cup and the Red Bull Rookies Cup featuring rising stars like 16-year-old German talent Fynn Kratochwil.

For the first time, selected races will also be shown on free TV, making the thrill of MotoGP™ accessible to an even wider audience. This expansion of free-TV coverage is a testament to RTL Deutschland’s dedication to bringing the excitement of motorcycle racing to as many viewers as possible.

Strengthening MotoGP™’s Presence in the Region

We are delighted to continue and expand our partnership and to offer MotoGP™ exclusively over the long term – including, for the first time, selected races for a broad audience on free TV.” Gabbe emphasized RTL Deutschland’s commitment to providing fans with the world’s premier racing championships, including Formula 1 the IndyCar Series and the WRC.

Broadcasting Rights and Public Viewing

The broadcasting rights under this agreement apply across all distribution platforms in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This includes public-viewing rights for restaurants, hotels, and other public venues through Sky Business. By securing these rights, RTL Deutschland ensures that fans can enjoy the excitement of MotoGP™ in various settings, fostering a sense of community among motorcycle racing enthusiasts.
