The Northeast Motorcycle Road Racing (NEMRR) series revved up the excitement at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 12-13, 2025. Riders were buzzing with anticipation to hit the track again after a four-week break following the Loudon Classic. With both days promising sunny skies, the atmosphere was electric as competitors geared up to build on their past performances. Who wouldn’t want to set a new personal best in such perfect conditions?
Super Street and Novice Highlights
Kicking off the weekend, the Super Street riders took to the track. This unique class serves as a bridge between casual track days and full-blown racing, allowing newcomers to dive into the NEMRR experience without needing extensive motorcycle prep. This inclusive approach has attracted a wave of riders, many of whom find themselves drawn into competitive racing once they catch the thrill of the community. During these races, Greg Regan and Mark Roberto put on an impressive display in the Unlimited Division, frequently swapping wins, while Micheal Tower and Jason Feinberg shared victories in the Lightweight Super Street division.
Meanwhile, in the Novice division, where new racers sharpen their skills before moving up the ranks, John Lopes stood out as a top contender in the larger displacement classes. On the other hand, Nate Lamontagne shined in the lightweight divisions, with both riders clocking lap times that suggest they’re on the verge of leveling up to the Amateur ranks. Safety is a priority in NEMRR’s Novice division, ensuring that newcomers race against similarly skilled competitors, which significantly boosts their learning curve and confidence.
Amateur and Expert Performances
In the Amateur ranks, Joseph Townsend and Charles Keighley stole the spotlight. Both riders opted for the Yamaha R6 and racked up multiple victories. The weekend’s highlight came during the Seacoast Sport Cycle Dash for Cash, where Keighley triumphed over strong challengers like Rui Almeida and Sean Keech. His success led him to announce plans to move up to the Expert class, eager to push his limits and refine his racing prowess against the best of the best.
The Expert division didn’t disappoint either, showcasing impressive talent, especially among the younger riders. Nathan Bettencourt, Adam Muscaro, and Adam Guyer each celebrated four wins throughout the weekend. Bettencourt, at just 15 years old, showcased remarkable talent by winning every race he entered, including a standout performance in the 500 Superbike class. Muscaro, competing on both KTM Supermoto and Kawasaki Ninja 500 bikes, delivered solid results, particularly in the 500 Supersport class, where he faced tough competition. Guyer dominated the lightweight classes, achieving victory in every event, punctuated by a phenomenal lap time of 1:13.4 in the Thunderbike class.
Big Bike Class Showdowns
The big bike classes were equally thrilling, with Paul Duval, Ian Beam, and Eric Wood impressing the crowd. Duval clinched three victories aboard his Yamaha R6, finishing a strong second in the MWGP division of the Dash for Cash. Beam’s skill was on full display as he secured his second win of the weekend, outpacing Duval in the Dash for Cash event. Meanwhile, Wood, riding his Ducati V2, dominated the Heavyweight GP division and ultimately emerged as the overall champion of the Seacoast Sport Cycle/Dunlop Tires Dash for Cash, capping off a stellar weekend with five class wins.
As the dust settles from this exhilarating weekend, eyes are already turning to Round 5 of the NEMRR series, set for August 2-3 at the same venue. The lively atmosphere and fierce competition continue to attract participants and fans alike, solidifying NEMRR’s place as a must-see event on the motorcycle racing calendar. Are you ready for the next round?
