Motorola has expanded its presence in the US market with the launch of the Moto Tag 2 a successor to its popular tracking device series. First unveiled at CES 2026 this new iteration brings significant advancements in positioning accuracy and security features setting a new standard for Android GPS trackers.

The Moto Tag 2 stands out with its integration of Bluetooth 6.0 and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology. These features enable users to track their belongings with unprecedented precision and ease. The device’s compatibility with the Google Find Hub network further enhances its functionality, allowing real-time location updates even when the tagged item is far from its owner.

Precision and Security at the Forefront

The Moto Tag 2 is not just about advanced software; it is also designed to withstand harsh conditions. With an IP68 rating the device is both dustproof and water-resistant, capable of surviving submersion in freshwater up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Available in two stylish colors, Arabesque and Laurel Oak from the Pantone palette, the Moto Tag 2 combines functionality with aesthetics.

Addressing privacy concerns, Motorola has equipped the Moto Tag 2 with end-to-end encryption and unauthorized tracking alerts. These features ensure that users can track their items securely and be alerted if an unfamiliar tag is detected nearby.
