Race Schedule and Viewing Options
The action kicks off on Friday, August 21 with a single Free Practice session from 14:00 to 14:40 local time (UTC+2). The following day, Saturday, August 22 is packed with excitement, starting with the Qualifying session from 09:20 to 09:50. The top eight drivers from this session will have their grid positions reversed for the afternoon’s Reverse Grid Race scheduled from 14:35 to 15:10.
The grand finale takes place on Sunday, August 23 with the Feature Race starting at 10:30 and concluding at 11:15. All sessions, including Qualifying and both races, are available to watch for free on the F1 Academy YouTube channel. Paddock Access and Fan Experiences
Located near Gate 2 and the F1 Fanzone the F1 Academy paddock is open to all ticket holders. The paddock will be accessible during specific hours each day: Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:30 to 18:30; Saturday from 10:40 to 13:15 and 16:00 to 18:30; and Sunday from 12:05 to 14:30. This is your chance to get up close and personal with the drivers and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the racing paddock.
For those eager to meet their favorite drivers, the F1 Academy will host three autograph signing sessions throughout the weekend. On Friday and Saturday from 11:00 to 11:30, drivers will be available for meet-and-greets. Additionally, LEGO Racing’s Esmee Kosterman will have exclusive signing sessions on Friday from 11:30 to 11:45 and Saturday from 11:35 to 11:50. Places are limited, so be sure to pick up your wristband at 09:00 each day to secure your spot.
