Transforming your track day experience
At Precision Track Days, we’re changing the way you experience motorcycle track days. We understand that every rider has unique needs, and we strive to create a meticulously crafted environment that enhances your riding experience. Picture this: each twist and turn on the track is a chance to push your limits, supported by a dedicated team focused on your growth and safety. Our mission is clear: track days should be more than just a ride; they should be a complete experience that ignites your passion for the sport.
Highlights from the recent events
During this weekend’s events, we witnessed some thrilling performances and heart-stopping moments on the track. One of the standout riders was CJ LaRoche, who unfortunately faced an early setback. After crashing in the opening Supersport session, he was seen on the track, needing assistance. Thankfully, he was sore but uninjured. Such incidents remind us of the importance of safety in motorsports, and we commend CJ for his decision to withdraw and prioritize his well-being.
Emerging talents shine
Another impressive performance came from Sean Dylan Kelly, who is making waves in his debut Superbike season with Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki. He topped the time sheets during Friday morning’s session and maintained his momentum with a strong second-fastest time in the afternoon. This achievement marked a significant milestone for Team Hammer, as it was the first time they had a bike leading the Superbike time sheets in a practice session since 2021. Sean’s talent and determination are certainly ones to watch this season!
Competitive spirit on the track
The competition was fierce across all categories. In the King of The Baggers class, Kyle Wyman showcased his skills aboard the factory Harley-Davidson, setting the morning practice pace. However, Loris Baz, riding for S&S Indian, was hot on his heels, managing to close the gap to just 0.012 seconds during provisional qualifying. Troy Herfoss also made his presence felt, landing in third position, albeit more than half a second behind Baz, confirming the competitive nature of this event.
Stock 1000 sessions heat up
The Stock 1000 sessions were equally thrilling, with Ashton Yates on the Jones Honda CBR 1000RR-R and Andrew Lee on the OrangeCat BMW M 1000 RR exchanging fastest lap times throughout the two sessions. Both riders, along with Lee’s teammate Jayson Uribe, consistently outperformed the rest of the field by more than a second, showcasing their exceptional skills and preparation. Their fierce rivalry added an exciting dynamic to the track, captivating both fans and fellow competitors.
A showcase of talent in Super Hooligan
In the Super Hooligan category, Cory West and Jake Lewis were at the forefront, trading the top positions during the Friday sessions. Their performances led to a remarkable sweep for Harley-Davidson Pan America ST, securing the top five spots in provisional qualifying. Meanwhile, Dominic Doyle from Giaccmoto Yamaha Racing MT-09 ST made his mark as the fastest non-Harley rider, finishing 1.588 seconds behind the leaders. This competitive atmosphere is exactly what makes track days exhilarating!
