In an exciting development for young motorcycle enthusiasts, MotoAmerica the premier motorcycle road racing series in North America, has announced a new partnership with Texas Mini Cup and Flo4Law to add two more qualifiers for the 2026 Mission Mini Cup National Final. This doubleheader event will take place at the Amarillo Motorsports Park in Amarillo, Texas, on July 25-26, 2026.
The addition of these qualifiers provides young riders in Texas with more opportunities to earn a one-time, 10-point bonus and sharpen their skills ahead of the biggest Mission Mini Cup event of the season. This initiative further strengthens MotoAmerica’s nationwide grassroots development program, offering a pathway for young talent to progress in the sport.
Expanding Opportunities for Young Riders
Chuck Aksland MotoAmerica’s Chief Operating Officer, expressed gratitude for the continued commitment from Ryan Max Johnson and the Texas Mini Cup organization. “Texas is a large state to cover, and it’s great to see Ryan and his team expand to Amarillo with another qualifier. Now riders in the Panhandle region will have a chance to earn bonus points and compete for a championship at Road America in August,” Aksland said.

MotoAmerica does a great job presenting a pathway for young racers to progress through the sport, and giving riders in the Panhandle a qualifier of their own means even more of our racers, especially our youngest competitors in the Stock 50 class, get their shot at a national title.”
The Mission Mini Cup: A Pathway for Young Talent
The Mission Mini Cup is designed for riders aged six to 16 and features several classes: Stock 50 (ages 6-8), Stock 110 (ages 8-12), GP 110 (ages 10-14), GP 160 (ages 10-14), and GP 190 (ages 12-16). This championship serves as the official youth development ladder of MotoAmerica, providing a proving ground for the sport’s next generation of professional talent.
The qualifier hosted by Texas Mini Cup presented by Flo4Law will take place at Amarillo Motorsports Park on July 25-26, 2026. The one-time, 10-point bonus awarded to participants in any of the 2026 Mission Mini Cup qualifiers will be used to calculate the final finishing order for the Mission Mini Cup National Final, scheduled for August 7-9, 2026, at Road America’s Briggs & Stratton Motorplex.

Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha are once again providing manufacturer contingency to support the Stock 50 and Stock 110 classes, further enhancing the offering for riders throughout the 2026 season. This support underscores the commitment of these manufacturers to the development of young talent in motorcycle road racing.
