The X Games Sacramento 2026 concluded with a spectacular display of talent and athleticism, as Monster Energy athletes claimed a total of 24 medals across the three-day event. The competition, held from June 26 to 28, marked the inaugural event of the MoonPay X Games League (XGL) 2026 Summer Season featuring over 90 athletes from around the globe.

Monster Energy’s team of action sports athletes demonstrated their prowess in various disciplines, including skateboardingBMX and Moto X. Their performances not only entertained the crowd but also set new standards in their respective sports.

Day 1: A Strong Start for Monster Energy

On the first day of the competition, Monster Energy athletes secured four medals including two golds and two bronzes. The Women’s Skateboard Park event saw 16-year-old Arisa Trew from Palm Beach, Australia, claim the gold medal with a dominant performance. Her teammate, 19-year-old Raicca Ventura from Sao Paulo, Brazil, took home the bronze medal.

In the Moto X Best Whip competition, 30-year-old Julien Vanstippen from Ophain, Belgium, defended his gold medal from the previous edition. The Men’s BMX Park event concluded with 31-year-old Kevin Peraza from Tucson, Arizona, claiming the bronze medal.

Day 2: Monster Energy Riders Bring the Heat

Day two of the competition saw Monster Energy athletes claim nine medals including three goldsfour silvers and two bronzes. The day kicked off with a standout performance in the Dave Mirra BMX Park Best Trick final, where 32-year-old Ryan Williams from Sunshine Coast, Australia, took the gold medal. His teammate, 31-year-old Daniel Sandoval from Corona, California, secured the bronze.

The Women’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick event featured 16-year-old Arisa Trew defending her gold medal with a next-level performance. In the BMX Dirt final, 23-year-old Brady Baker from Toms River, New Jersey, claimed gold, while Williams took silver. The Men’s Skateboard Street competition saw 31-year-old Nyjah Huston from Laguna Beach, California, take home the silver medal.

The Men’s Skateboard Park event concluded with 15-year-old Egoitz Bijueska from Bilbao, Spain, claiming silver in his X Games debut. The Moto X Best Trick event saw 25-year-old Ben Richards from Wagga Wagga, Australia, earn the silver medal.

Day 3: Monster Energy Athletes Dominate the Podium

The final day of the competition was a triumphant one for Monster Energy athletes, who claimed 11 medals including two goldsthree silvers and six bronzes. The Women’s BMX Park event showcased the talent of 16-year-old Miharu Ozawa from Gifu, Japan, who claimed gold in her X Games debut. Her teammate, 24-year-old Kim Lea Mueller from Remscheid, Germany, took home the bronze medal.

In the BMX Dirt Best Trick contest, 32-year-old Ryan Williams defended his gold medal with a never-been-done trick. The Women’s Skateboard Street final saw 17-year-old Liz Akama from Miyagi, Japan, claim the bronze medal. The Men’s Skateboard Vert event featured 17-year-old JD Sanchez from Pleasanton, California, taking silver, while 26-year-old Tom Schaar from Malibu, California, secured the bronze.

The Men’s BMX Street contest concluded with 31-year-old Kevin Peraza from Tucson, Arizona, claiming silver, and 30-year-old Jordan Godwin from Cardiff, Wales, taking bronze. The Men’s Skateboard Street Best Trick event saw 20-year-old Filipe Mota from Patos de Minas, Brazil, earn the bronze medal. The Women’s Skateboard Vert final finished with 19-year-old Asahi Kaihara from Osaka, Japan, taking the bronze medal.

The MoonPay X Games League (XGL) is the world’s first year-round, team-based, co-ed league in action sports. Supported by Monster Energy as an X Games League Founding Partner, the league allows city-based clubs and individual athletes to rack up points across the season for a shot at the championship.
