As the holiday season approaches, consider a meaningful gift for the motorcycle enthusiast in your life. A Superbike-Coach gift certificate could be an ideal option, providing an opportunity to enhance their riding skills while emphasizing safety.
Prepare for an exciting event: the first-ever ladies-only cornering class will take place at Little 99 Raceway. The motorcycle community can often feel intimidating for women, particularly when surrounded by male riders and instructors. This exclusive class aims to create a more welcoming environment.
Taking the reins of your riding journey
Many female riders perceive the transition to advanced riding skills as a significant challenge. The combination of modern motorcycle power and unpredictable road conditions can be intimidating. Traditional training methods may not suit everyone, which is why we are pleased to introduce a specialized session of our renowned Cornering School, designed specifically for women.
This class emphasizes not only speed but also survival techniques, precision, and the development of self-confidence. Participants will become part of a supportive community of fellow female riders, all striving to master essential skills that enhance their riding experience, whether on winding roads or during daily commutes.
Learn from a relatable mentor
Leading this initiative is Jill Akkaya, an experienced rider and instructor who recognizes the unique challenges women encounter in the motorcycle community. Jill emphasizes the mental aspects of riding, focusing on overcoming hesitation, anxiety, and self-doubt. Participants can anticipate a supportive environment that promotes personal growth, learning from someone who has navigated similar obstacles.
The Cornering School is designed for riders of all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional seeking to enhance your technique, the sessions at Little 99 Raceway offer a safe and low-pressure setting to address challenges that mimic real road conditions.
Accessible learning opportunities
For a fee of $195, which covers track fees, snacks, and photography, this full-day experience provides riders with essential survival skills for urban riding. The program is designed to be accessible and welcoming to all participants:
- Your bike is welcome:Regardless of the motorcycle type—be it cruiser, sportbike, or touring bike—you can learn on your own ride.
- No special gear required:There is no need for expensive leathers. As long as you have standard protective gear, you are ready to participate.
- All skill levels encouraged:Participants are grouped by ability, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace without feeling rushed or intimidated.
This is an excellent opportunity to become the confident and skilled rider you aim to be. Reserve your spot today and get ready to take control of your riding journey with Jill Akkaya.
Exciting track days ahead
We are pleased to announce our track days at Thunderhill Raceway for the upcoming year. These events cater specifically to novice and less experienced riders, creating a non-competitive environment that prioritizes safety and learning. In contrast to other organizers, who report an average of three crashes per group, our statistics indicate only three crashes per day. At our last event, we recorded just one incident.
The framework of our track days will remain steady, but we anticipate exciting changes for our events on October 31 and November 1. More updates will follow, and we encourage participants to take advantage of our early bird and bundle discounts while they remain available.
The Superbike-Coach team is committed to making 2026 a memorable year for all riders. We aim to enhance the student experience by introducing several new benefits, including complimentary professional action photography, improved coaching, and free refreshments.
At Superbike-Coach, we focus on making advanced rider training enjoyable, accessible, and comprehensive. Our diverse range of unique programs caters to riders of all ages and skill levels, ensuring an enriching experience for everyone.
Meet Jill Akkaya
Jill Akkaya’s passion for motorcycles began in her youth, influenced by the thrill of racing from her father, Can Akkaya, the founder of Superbike-Coach. Although she initially hesitated to ride, she has fully embraced her passion and is now dedicated to helping others improve their riding skills.
“As a woman in this sport, I recognize the unique challenges of entering a traditionally male-dominated field. It is encouraging to witness an increasing number of women participating in our program. I look forward to aiding them in building confidence and developing their skills on motorcycles,” said Jill.
We invite you to participate in this innovative class and elevate your riding experience!
