Heading into the Chase, all eyes were on JR Motorsports teammates Justin Allgaier and Carson Kvapil. Allgaier, who had dominated the regular season with six wins, held a commanding 25-point lead over Kvapil. Creed’s Dominant Performance at Darlington
Creed’s No. 00 Haas Factory Team car showcased exceptional performance throughout the 147-lap race. Despite early dominance from Allgaier and Kvapil, who led for a combined 80 laps, Creed took control in the final 30 laps and led the remaining 53 laps to secure the win.
The victory was particularly sweet for Creed, who expressed his love for Darlington’s technical challenges. “Being able to win at arguably the hardest race track is awesome for myself,” Creed said. “I love when you have to have throttle control and it’s super technical. This is my favorite place on the schedule, and if I could pick a place to win, this is it.”
Standings Shake-Up
Creed’s win has tightened the points gap significantly. Allgaier now leads by just seven points, while Kvapil sits third, 19 points behind. The top six drivers are now separated by only 48 points, highlighting the intense competition in the Chase.
Corey Day, who finished second, also made a significant move in the standings, jumping to fifth place. Other notable performances included Anthony Alfredo’s Stage 2 win and Austin Hill’s fifth-place finish. Rajah Caruth, however, had a challenging race, finishing last among the Chase contenders due to a fuel pickup issue.
