With a lineup of 16 historic vehicles and six awards to their name, the Milanese club reinforced its status as a leader in Italian historic motorsport.
The event, organized by the CPAE (Club Piacentino Automotoveicoli d’Epoca) celebrated the theme “Le auto in livrea” (Cars in Livery), showcasing vehicles of significant historical and sporting value. The Scuderia Sant Ambroeus presented a diverse array of cars, including iconic models from FerrariAlfa RomeoOscaBentleyAbarth and BMW.

The Vernasca Silver Flag is renowned for its cultural approach to historic motorsport, emphasizing authenticity and conservation over competition. The 2026 edition highlighted a growing focus on sustainability with the participation of a Lancia Flaminia Coupé powered by bio-benzin, part of the ASI Net-zero Classic project. This initiative underscores the event’s commitment to reducing CO2 emissions while preserving automotive heritage.
Among the standout vehicles were three Ferrari models: the 340 MM Scaglietti from 1953, the 212 E Berlinetta Le Mans Touring Superleggera from 1951, and the 166 MM Barchetta from 1950. The event featured prominent figures such as Thierry Boutsen a former Formula 1 driver, who piloted a De Tomaso Pantera Gruppo 4. Arturo Merzario another legendary driver, participated in an Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV Gruppo 2 adding to the event’s allure.
