The Best in Classic contest, organized by Ruoteclassiche is back for its 2026 edition, offering you the chance to honor the best of the automotive heritage.
This annual event aims to recognize excellence across nine distinct categories, from classic cars and future icons to captivating events and innovative restorations. Your voice matters, and the contest is now open for nominations. Whether you’re drawn to the timeless elegance of a vintage automobile, the thrill of a historic race, or the creativity of a young talent sharing their passion on social media, there’s a category for you to explore and engage with.
The categories and voting process
The Best in Classic contest features nine categories, each celebrating a different aspect of automotive culture. The first two categories, Auto classica and Classica di domani will be open for voting by the public through a survey on the Ruoteclassiche Instagram page in October. The remaining categories will be evaluated by a prestigious jury of experts, including Gian Luca Pellegrini the director of Ruoteclassiche, and notable figures such as Elisabetta CozziSilvia NicolisMonica MailanderAntonio GhiniMarco MakausRonnie KesselGuglielmo Miani and Roberto Ratto.
To participate, you have until mid-September to submit your nominations by emailing bestinclassic@. Be sure to specify the category, provide a description, include at least two high-quality images (for vehicle categories), and explain why you believe your nomination deserves recognition. Remember, for the Auto classicaClassica di domaniRestauro and Restomod categories, only vehicles published, presented, or restored between and July 2026 are eligible.
The awards ceremony and special edition
The winners of the Best in Classic contest will be announced during a special evening event on 20 November held as part of the Milano AutoClassica exhibition. This prestigious gathering will bring together enthusiasts, experts, and industry professionals to celebrate the best of automotive heritage.
